Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a warm welcome at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. After a short briefing, journey through the Great Rift Valley’s breathtaking landscapes toward the Masai Mara. Stop for lunch along the way or at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, your home for the next two nights. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara’s iconic plains. As the sun dips low, watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, and graceful antelope. Return to camp for dinner and your first night under the starlit African sky.

After an early breakfast, set off for a full day of adventure in the Masai Mara. Your expert guide will lead you across the vast savannahs in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—as well as cheetahs and large herds of plains game. Depending on wildlife movement, enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for a midday break.
