While exploring, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, hartebeests, and bushbucks, along with predators such as lions and leopards. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird lovers, boasting the highest number of breeding bird species in the world.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the park before continuing to your accommodation near Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight rest.

Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration a spectacular movement of millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes as they search for water and lush grazing lands.
Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and spend the night at a public campsite in Central Serengeti.

Begin your day with a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying wildlife sightings en route. In the afternoon, descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site, a massive volcanic caldera and natural haven for wildlife. The crater’s varied landscapes ranging from grasslands and forests to lakes and marshes support a dense population of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. If you're lucky, you may spot the rare and endangered black rhino grazing in the open plains.

Day 5

Your day begins early, departing at 7:00 am for the journey from Tarangire to Lake Eyasi, a scenic 108 km drive that takes approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting 6-hour game experience through striking landscapes rich in wildlife diversity. A hot lunch will be served at Lake Eyasi to recharge for the rest of the day.
You’ll also embark on a unique cultural experience—a guided trek with the Hadzabe tribe, East Africa’s last hunter-gatherers. Witness their traditional hunting techniques during a 5–8 km walk, complete with bursts of speed as they pursue small game. Afterward, join the Hadzabe women for a short walk to observe daily life and family traditions in this remote and resilient community.
In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for an overnight stay at Charity Hotel, nestled in the heart of Arusha town.

After breakfast, depart Arusha at 7:30 am for a scenic drive to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. The journey covers 83 km and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious local lunch, offering a taste of the region’s unique flavors and culture. Your adventure begins with a visit to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where your guide will share fascinating insights into the Chagga tribe, local traditions, and the rich natural surroundings.
You’ll take part in cultural activities, including a tour of a coffee plantation. Learn about the coffee-making process from bean to cup, and savor a freshly brewed cup made the traditional way. Experience the warmth of Chagga hospitality through traditional songs and stories.
