In the morning, we will pick you up from Rivertrees and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its colossal baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. The park's landscape predominantly features Acacia woodland and towering African Baobab trees, interspersed with expansive swamp areas in the southern region, creating a stunning and distinctive setting where as many as 300 elephants can be observed, seeking underground streams in the arid riverbeds. Additionally, you may witness the sight of migrating wildebeest, zebras, and buffaloes congregating around diminishing lagoons. Tarangire also offers the chance to encounter African pythons exhibiting their tree-climbing prowess. Within this African national park, three remarkable species find their habitat—the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk. Here, you will relish a thrilling game drive accompanied by a delightful picnic lunch.

En route, you have the option to visit Olduvai Gorge, where significant human fossils were discovered by the Leakey family, offering insights into the origins of mankind. Within the Serengeti, be prepared to witness an abundance of wildlife throughout the year, with the mesmerizing spectacle of the Great Migration captivating travelers. After breakfast you will make your way to Ngorongoro and commence an early descent down the towering 600-meter walls, immersing yourself in the breathtaking splendor of the Ngorongoro Crater—an esteemed natural wonder of Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unparalleled location offers a sanctuary for an abundance of African wildlife, including the iconic "Big Five" species. Within the crater's boundaries, a diverse array of wildlife and birdlife thrives throughout the year. Prepare to be captivated as lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and various plains animals such as wildebeests, zebras, reedbucks, and Thompson gazelles grace your presence. As the afternoon unfolds, you will indulge in a delightful lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, allowing you to savor the surroundings while enjoying a satisfying meal. Late afternoon you will depart to Gilala where you will spend the night.

After breakfast at Gilala Hai Lodge, we will head to Tloma for a 2-3 hour experience of the Iraqw culture. You will learn wedding traditions, dressmaking, and explore underground wartime houses. Visit a coffee plantation, witnessing harvesting and processing, and enjoy a fresh brew. See a local school and learn to cook traditional Iraqw food in traditional pots. Optionally, visit Karatu's local market. After Lunch we will proceed to Adventure de-briefing and transfer to Departure point in Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO).
