Day 1

After breakfast in Zanzibar, you'll catch a scheduled morning flight to the Serengeti, landing at Seronera Airstrip in the heart of the Central Serengeti. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide who will take you on your first game drive. As you traverse the golden plains, you'll spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and possibly cheetahs. The Seronera region is rich in wildlife and known for its resident big cats. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic area within the park before continuing your afternoon game viewing session. Late in the evening, your guide will drive you to your comfortable mid-range tented camp, where you'll enjoy dinner and rest under the African stars.

Today is dedicated to a full day of exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of game drives across the vast savannah, where you may witness the legendary Great Migration (seasonal), spot the Big Five, and observe the fascinating behavior of predators and grazers alike. Your guide will navigate the best wildlife routes, maximizing your chances of unique sightings. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the bush. For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you may opt for an early morning hot air balloon safari (additional cost), followed by a champagne breakfast in the wild. The day ends with a return to your camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll leave the Serengeti behind and journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. Once you reach the crater rim, you’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a haven for a dense population of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, buffalos, hippos, and many antelope species. A picnic lunch will be served near a hippo pool inside the crater. After an enriching safari, you’ll ascend and drive to the lush highlands of Karatu, where you’ll check in at Acacia Farm Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
