Depart from Nairobi and Drive To Masai Mara

Your safari begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or home early in the morning, around 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. A pop-up roof tour van will pick you up, offering an excellent view of the Kenyan countryside as you head towards the Masai Mara. The journey takes around 5 to 6 hours, passing through the scenic Great Rift Valley, where you can stop at a viewpoint to take in the breathtaking landscape. Upon arrival at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, you’ll check in, freshen up, and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, you’ll embark on your first afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and other wildlife. The afternoon light is perfect for wildlife photography, and your guide will ensure you get the best views of the stunning landscapes and animals. Afterward, head back to the lodge for a relaxing dinner.

Full-Day Safari & Masai Village Visit

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin a morning game drive, exploring the vast Masai Mara Game Reserve with the help of your expert guide. The pop-up roof van provides optimal visibility, making it easy to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. During the drive, you may also see cheetahs hunting, herds of wildebeest and zebras, or even a rare sighting of a leopard. Once the morning drive is complete, you’ll stop for a picnic breakfast or lunch in the bush, allowing you to immerse yourself in the Mara's natural beauty. After lunch, you can enjoy a visit to a Maasai village, where you’ll learn about their traditional lifestyle, dances, and crafts. Alternatively, a hot air balloon ride offers a unique aerial view of the Mara’s landscapes and wildlife. The day concludes with a sunset game drive and dinner back at the lodge.

Final Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

On your final day, check out by 10:00 AM. After a leisurely breakfast at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge, you’ll have time to relax, enjoy the surroundings, or do some last-minute shopping at the lodge's gift shop. You’ll check out by 10:00 AM and begin your return journey to Nairobi in the pop-up roof tour van. The drive takes around 5-6 hours, with optional stops for refreshments and photos of the stunning Kenyan landscape. You’ll arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or home, marking the end of your memorable 3-day safari.
