Materuni Waterfalls

The Materuni Waterfall lies in Materuni, a charming, authentic tribal village that is home to the Chagga tribe. Materuni is just 15 km from Moshi Town and is the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park. The waterfall, named after the village, is an immense and powerful sight that’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in Tanzania. From Arusha, the trip takes about 2 hours and just half an hour from Moshi.

In the morning you’ll be picked up at your accommodation by our English-speaking Rafiki-Guide. He will drive you to Materuni Village. The last part of the drive is quite exciting The Materuni Waterfall is about a 40-minute walk from the starting point. It’s not accessible by car, which makes this trip even more adventurous! Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about Chagga culture, village life, and the local flora and fauna of Materuni.

Today, you’ll meet the Key2Africa safari guide who will be ready to pick you up at the your Hotel. From Arusha, you’ll embark on a drive to Tarangire National Park, marking the beginning of your exciting adventure. Tarangire National Park is like an exciting adventure into Tanzania’s wildlife paradise. The park is full of different and impressive animals, especially large groups of elephants, majestic lions, elegant giraffes, and various types of antelopes. Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you'll explore the renowned Ngorongoro Crater with a full day dedicated to a game drive. Enjoy lunch near Hippo, continuing with game drive later in the afternoon drive back to Arusha for flight to Zanzibar. The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is like a big bowl made by a volcano. It's special because lots of animals live there, such as lions, elephants, buffalos, and more.
There's also a lake called Lake Magadi where you can see flamingos and other birds. People called the Maasai also live there, making it a unique place with both animals and culture. You can stand on the edge of the crater and see everything below, and the views are really amazing. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of a special area to protect nature, and it's a great safari
spot where you can experience the beauty of the land
