1-Day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National P

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

You will wake up as early as 5:00-6:00 am. Your driver-guide will meet you at your hotel in Kabale. After an early breakfast, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will take part in a briefing at the park headquarters. After that, you’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family and briefed on tracking etiquette and safety procedures. You'll begin your guided trek into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek duration varies from 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, terrain, and pace of the group. Upon locating the gorillas, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them watching juveniles play, mothers nurse their young, and the silverback keep watch all from a safe and respectful distance. Rangers and trackers will be on hand to interpret behaviors and ensure safety.
After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters to receive your Gorilla Trekking Certificate and driven back to your hotel in Kabale.
