Moshi is a town in northern Tanzania, near the Kenyan border. It is known as a gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Trails ascend the mountain’s cloud-covered, snow-capped dome through alpine forests and meadows inhabited by elephants and leopards. Moshi is also one of Tanzania's major coffee-producing hubs and is known for its coffee farms.

After breakfast in the morning, you will begin a full-day game viewing experience. On this day, your guide will pack a lunch for a bush picnic. Enjoy a picnic lunch followed by a game drive in Tarangire. Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive to a tented lodge in Tarangire National Park for dinner and your overnight stay.

From the lodge, begin your descent to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and a remarkable place to interact with members of the Maasai community.

The Ngorongoro Crater and surrounding highlands form one of Africa’s most scenic regions. Volcanic craters provide stunning backdrops to some of the continent’s most fertile and productive grazing grounds. The most famous of these is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, home to the highest density of big game in Africa, including all the “Big Five” and many predators. Ngorongoro is considered the best place in Tanzania to see these animals. After lunch, you will begin your ascent from the crater. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
