Arrival and Game Drive

Morning departure from Arusha: Begin your adventure with an early morning departure from Arusha. You will be picked up by your guide, who will provide a briefing about the safari itinerary.

Drive to Serengeti National Park: The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of Tanzania, including a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for stunning views.

Arrival and lunch: Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the beautiful surroundings.

Afternoon Game Drive: After lunch, embark on your first game drive in the park. The Serengeti is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. This drive typically lasts until sunset.

Hot-Air Balloon Safari and Game Drive

Early morning hot-air balloon ride: Rise before dawn for an unforgettable hot-air balloon experience. Depart from your lodge around 5 AM to reach the launch site. After a safety briefing, take off just before sunrise to enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti plains and wildlife below.

Champagne breakfast in the bush: After approximately one hour of flight, land back on solid ground where you will be greeted with a celebratory breakfast featuring champagne in the wilderness.

Return to lodge for relaxation: After breakfast, return to your lodge for some downtime or relaxation before heading out again.

Afternoon game drive: In the afternoon, set out for another game drive. This time, you may focus on different areas of the park to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. Look out for predators like lions and cheetahs as well as herds of wildebeest and zebras.

Dinner and overnight: Return to your lodge for dinner and another night under the stars in the Serengeti.

Final Game Drive and Departure to Arusha

Morning game drive: On your last day, enjoy an early morning game drive to catch sight of wildlife during their most active hours. This is an excellent opportunity to see animals such as lions hunting or herds grazing peacefully.

Breakfast at the lodge: Return to your lodge for breakfast after your morning adventure.

Departure from Serengeti: Check out from your lodge and begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on time constraints, you may have another chance for en-route game viewing.

Drop-off in Arusha or airport transfer: Conclude your safari with drop-off either at a hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward travel.
