Day 1

Your Tanzania camping and cultural safari will officially begin today! After an early breakfast, you’ll be picked up by our Safari guide from your accommodation at 7:45 a.m. for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire features a striking mix of landscapes—from open savannahs and seasonal swamps to the wildlife-rich banks of the Tarangire River.

Set out on a thrilling game drive in an open-roof safari vehicle, with the chance to spot giraffes, zebras, impalas, lions, leopards, elephants, elands, warthogs, and a wide array of birdlife. Midday, pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before continuing your exploration. As the sun sets, head to your campsite for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2

On this day, our safari guide will pick you up from your safari camp and heading to Lake Manyara National Park which is located just 10 minutes drive to the main gate of the park and starting your game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water level is high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here. You will have your packed lunchbox around 0100pm at one of the picnic sites in the park before proceeding with the game drive.

Around 0300pm as the sun sets, you will slowly start to depart the park heading back to the same safari camp as yesterday for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, set off on your journey to the legendary Serengeti. Though the drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and can be a bit bumpy at times, it’s filled with rewarding wildlife sightings as you travel through the scenic crater highlands and into the sweeping plains of the Serengeti.

Weather permitting, enjoy a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the caldera.

Savor a picnic lunch along the way, surrounded by the region’s striking natural beauty. Upon entering the park, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, where the Serengeti’s abundant wildlife and vast landscapes come to life.

As evening approaches, arrive at your campsite at seronera for a hearty dinner and a tranquil overnight stay in the heart of this iconic wilderness.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, we’ll set out on a game drive, exploring different areas of the park with our packed lunch boxes. You will proceeding with enjoying the game drive in the park while heading to the exting gatting where you will have your lunch boxes before departing the park.

You will have about 3 to 4 hours of drive until arriving to your campsite at the ngorongoro highland for the delicious dinner and overnight.

Day 5

You will start the day early with a drive to the Ngorongoro where you will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most stunning places on Earth.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest, uninterrupted caldera! About 30,000 large mammals reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. Inside the crater, you will explore the spectacular landscapes and relax in this magnificent environment, looking for the Big Five and many bird species like flamingos on the crater lakes. Be ready to see a large variety of animals in a short time!

After a fantastic afternoon game drive, you will ascend out of the crater and drive to your campsite at Lake Eyasi where a delicious dinner will be waiting for you and overnighting.

Hadzabe and Datoga cultural tour

After breakfast, set out for a culturally enriching day at Lake Eyasi. Your first visit will be with the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. Gain a rare glimpse into their daily lives as they demonstrate traditional hunting techniques, honey gathering, and their use of simple, temporary shelters. Their distinctive click language and deep connection to the land offer a truly unique and unforgettable cultural encounter.

Later, meet the Datoga community, celebrated for their intricate beadwork and expert blacksmithing skills passed down through generations. After a day of meaningful cultural exchange you will start your drive back to Arusha for dinner and overstay waiting for the next day of your safari.

On this last day of your Tanzania camping and cultural tour you will start with a visiting of one of the best waterfalls in in Kilimanjaro called materuni for a hike and coffee tour. You will also visit a hiden gim called Chemka, also known as Kikuletwa Hot Springs, you’ll experience a slice of paradise surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant wildlife. The natural hot springs, with their crystal-clear turquoise waters, offer a perfect escape for relaxation and swimming. You can bask in the warm water, explore the area, and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The experience is enhanced with a packed lunch box, allowing you to savor delicious local cuisine while soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Whether you choose to float in the springs or relax on the banks, Chemka provides an unforgettable day of tranquility and natural beauty.

After lunch you will drive back to Arusha and this will be the end of your Safari.
