Day 4

On the fourth day of the tour, travelers will embark on an early morning journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and one of Tanzania's most iconic destinations. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, boasting a massive floor of approximately 260 square kilometers and a depth of over 2,000 feet. A 5-hour game drive on the crater floor offers an incredible opportunity to witness a diverse array of wildlife, including African elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. After a picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, visitors will begin a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater and then proceed to their selected accommodation in Karatu, Acacia Farm Lodge, for dinner and an overnight stay.
