Flight from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti/Game Drive Central Serengeti

At 6:00 AM (pick-up time varies by Zanzibar hotel location), our driver will transport you to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight to Serengeti. Arriving at Seronera Airstrip by 10:40 AM, your driver-guide will meet you for a game drive in Central Serengeti, pausing for a picnic lunch in the park. The game drive continues until evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your camp.

Located in northern Tanzania, Serengeti National Park, a World Heritage Site, spans approximately 15,000 square kilometers. It hosts over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. The park is renowned for massive wildebeest and zebra migrations during the dry season, while North Serengeti sustains resident wildlife like lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and rare oribi antelopes year-round.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart your accommodation at 6:00 AM for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a three-hour drive to the Ngorongoro gate. Enjoy a full-day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight to Zanzibar, arriving at 5:30 PM. Our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its natural and cultural significance, offers a prime opportunity to spot the Big Five—lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos. You’ll also see diverse bird species, including flamingos in the crater lakes, and a stunning natural environment. Expect to encounter a variety of wildlife almost immediately upon descending into the crater.
