Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and introduce you to your dedicated tour guide and chef. Your adventure begins with a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape defined by ancient baobab trees and home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. During the game drive, guided by recent wildlife sightings, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to observe the intricate social behavior of elephant herds. The park is also rich in herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, while spotting elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards may require a bit more luck and a sharp eye.
Around midday, you'll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, enjoying a beautiful view of the river and its surrounding wildlife. Curious monkeys and baboons may wander close by, but they are harmless. After lunch, your game drive continues until approximately 4:30 PM, when you'll exit the park and begin your journey back to Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
