After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, a journey of about three hours. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season and is renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Covering roughly 2,850 square kilometers, Tarangire offers diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. You'll enjoy a full day of game viewing with a picnic lunch overlooking the river, providing a relaxing break amid nature. As the day winds down, you'll head to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. As you ascend the highlands and reach the crest, the vast expanse of the Serengeti unfolds before you—its name meaning “endless plains” in Kiswahili. Spanning over 18,000 square kilometers (6,900 square miles), the Serengeti is home to more than two million large animals, including over a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and countless Thomson’s gazelles. You’ll enjoy an evening game drive as you make your way to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Today, you’ll rise early for a thrilling morning safari before breakfast, when the animals are most active and the sun is rising over the African savannah—truly one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. After the game drive, you’ll return to camp for a delicious brunch. In the afternoon, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. With its towering 2,000-foot-high walls and a floor spanning 102 square miles, the crater is a wildlife haven, home to nearly every species native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. Known for its remarkable concentration of wildlife, Ngorongoro features a river, swamps, a soda lake filled with flamingos, forests, and expansive plains. The area is also famous for its large bull elephants with tusks that are especially impressive due to the rich volcanic soil and grasses.

Day 4

After breakfast, you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the elusive black rhino, as well as pride of lions, including the striking black-maned males. The crater is also home to vibrant flamingos, a variety of water birds, and an array of other wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. Small mammals can also be spotted throughout the area. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha or the airport for your drop-off.
