For this tour you will have to arrive a day before Safari by flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive along the way as you enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate. As you drive deeper into the park, keep your eyes peeled for lions, giraffes, elephants, and possibly cheetahs or leopards lounging in the sun. Arrive at your lodge or camp in central Serengeti in time for sunset and dinner under the stars.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, begin your drive back east toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called “Africa’s Eden,” for a half-day game drive in one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino, as well as lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and more. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening as it will mark the end of your Safari you will be dropped at the Airport to catch a flight back to Zanzibar.
