Tarangire National Park

Begin your safari with a morning drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience with excellent wildlife sightings, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a rich variety of birds. After a full-day game drive and picnic lunch in the park, head to a lodge or tented camp near Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and enter Serengeti National Park via Naabi Hill Gate. Enjoy a scenic game drive en route to Central Serengeti, an area famous for its year-round population of predators, especially lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The Central Serengeti is also home to large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope. Enjoy a sunset game drive before settling at the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Central Serengeti National Park

Wake early for a final morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, with the opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife winding down and predators starting their day. After brunch or a packed lunch, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive at your camp near the crater rim or in Karatu in the afternoon.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino), hippos, flamingos, and hyenas. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
