Kilimanjaro Day Hike – Marangu Route to Mandara Hut

Today you’ll get a real feel for Africa’s tallest mountain with a full-day hike on the famous Marangu Route. Starting from Marangu Gate, trek through the dense rainforest to Mandara Hut (2,700m), spotting black-and-white colobus monkeys and exotic birds along the way. Enjoy a packed lunch in the highland mist before descending in the afternoon and transferring to Arusha for dinner and rest ahead of your safari adventure.

After an early breakfast, head out on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Enter the park by midday and enjoy your first game drive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera), known for its abundant predators and resident wildlife. As the sun sets over the golden plains, settle into your safari camp for a magical night in the wild.

Full-Day Safari in the Serengeti
