Arusha – Tarangire National Park

06:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Arusha by your professional safari guide in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. After a short briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park.
Arrive at Tarangire gate. Begin a full-day game drive in the park. Tarangire is famous for its massive baobab trees, huge elephant herds, and scenic Tarangire River which attracts a variety of animals, especially in the dry season.

Common sightings: Elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, ostriches, and many bird species.

Picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park with views of the river. Continue with a game drive in the southern or central sector of the park, depending on sightings. Later on exit the park and drive to your lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
Optional: Visit a Maasai village en route (extra cost).

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

06:00 AM Early breakfast at the lodge, then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day.

Expect to see: Rhinos (if lucky), elephants, lions, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, jackals, hippos, flamingos (seasonal), and many more. Crater floor game drive lasts about 5–6 hours.
Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, with scenic views. Final game drive as you ascend the crater and begin your return drive to Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha and drop-off at your hotel or airport (if flying out the same evening).
