Day 1

Your day begins early in the morning with a drive from Arusha. Upon arrival at the park gate, you’ll begin a game drive through the park’s varied landscape — from river valleys to open savannahs and woodlands.

Tarangire is especially famous for its large herds of elephants, which gather near the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source. You’ll also spot lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, ostriches, and many species of birds — over 500 recorded.

Around midday, enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park, often with views of wildlife nearby. After lunch, continue your game drive, exploring more of the park’s beauty and looking out for rare species like the fringed-eared oryx and greater kudu, found only in a few places in northern Tanzania.

As the afternoon ends, begin the drive back to mto wa mbuu, arriving in the early evening with unforgettable memories of your day in Tarangire.

Day 2

Take a refreshing escape into nature with a full-day safari to Lake Manyara National Park, Your journey begins with an early morning drive from Mto wa mbuu, After arriving continue your game drive, exploring more of the park’s diverse landscapes. You may also visit the hot springs at the southern end of the park if time allows. Inside the crater, your game drive will take you through diverse landscapes, including open grasslands, marshes, acacia forests, and a central soda lake. This unique ecosystem supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, and the rare black rhino.

After lunch, continue your game drive, exploring more of the park’s diverse landscapes. You may also visit the hot springs at the southern end of the park if time allows.

By late afternoon, you'll exit the park and begin the return drive to Mto wa mbuu, arriving in the early evening filled with wonderful safari memories.

Day 3

Mto wa mbuu to ngorongoro

Embark on a breathtaking day trip to the Ngorongoro Crater, Your journey begins early in the morning with a drive from Mto wa mbuu you’ll arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll check in and proceed to the crater rim. From here, you’ll descend 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, home to more than 25,000 animals.

Inside the crater, your game drive will take you through diverse landscapes, including open grasslands, marshes, acacia forests, and a central soda lake.

Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots near a hippo pool, where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding views and animal activity. After lunch, continue exploring the crater floor, spotting more wildlife and taking in the beauty of this natural wonder.

By mid to late afternoon, begin the drive up the crater wall and return to Arusha, arriving in the evening with memories of a truly extraordinary day.
