Take time to relax by the pool, enjoy a massage, or sip a cocktail on the veranda as the sun sets over the highlands. Later, meet your personal safari guide for a private briefing over a candlelit dinner. Spot endangered black rhinos, hippos, lions, and massive herds of zebra in this 600-meter-deep volcanic caldera. Enjoy a luxury picnic lunch at a scenic lookout. Then, continue toward the Central Serengeti (approx. 2.5-3 hours), with stunning views of the plains unfolding as you drive. After breakfast and a final morning game drive near your camp, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha (approx. 6–7 hours) with breaks along the way. Alternatively, opt for a scheduled bush air transfer from the Serengeti to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (approx. 1 hour; extra cost) for convenience. Along the route, you’ll pass traditional Maasai villages, volcanic hills, and herds of livestock sharing the land with wildlife. Depending on your departure time, we can arrange a freshen-up stop or farewell meal in Arusha before your international departure.
