Spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and possibly leopards and cheetahs during your game drive. Wake early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, the perfect time to witness predators on the hunt and catch wildlife at its most active. Continue exploring the vast plains, possibly catching glimpses of the Big Five — lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos (in rare areas). Around midday, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive en route. The landscape transforms as you ascend to the cooler highlands, offering breathtaking views of the crater rim and surrounding forests. Look out for rhinos grazing in the open grasslands, hippos lounging in the pools, and prides of lions basking in the sun. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend the crater walls and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving by early evening with memories to last a lifetime.
