Best Safari experience in Tanzania with top notch company and guide.
My son and daughter and I planned a 5 day safari with Six and Seven Tours. The scheduling process was easy and the communication leading up to the trip was clear and consistent. We began our trip in Arusha with our guide Deo, heading out early the first morning. Deo was amazing, educating us on the communities we passed through and give us some history about Africa and the people. Deo is an outgoing guy and made it so easy for us to meet people when we stopped and to learn more about this amazing country. We visited 3 parks, and each day started out early to catch the animals at their most active times. Watching the sun rise over the plains was a highlight,, not to mention all of the animals we were able to see throughout the trip. Our favorites were the elephants and the gentle giants, giraffes. The monkeys were always entertaining. Not only did we see giraffes and elephants, we also saw a couple of lionesses with their cubs, hippos, flamingos, lots of monkeys, warthogs, hyenas and more. I would recommend Six and Seven Tours for anyone considering doing a safari in Tanzania. It was trip my two kids and I will always remember!

An unforgettable experience with an exceptional guide
I had the good fortune of getting in touch with David Limaro in Arusha, and I can wholeheartedly recommend both him and his safari company. What stood out to me most was his rare combination of warmth, professionalism, and organizational talent—qualities that truly made the experience special.
David speaks excellent English and communicates clearly and respectfully, which is especially important when traveling in a new country and relying on your guide. He knows how to connect with people and creates an atmosphere of trust and openness from the very beginning. His intercultural competence is outstanding—he understands what international guests value and engages with genuine interest and respect.
Beyond the safari itself, David also offers fascinating insights into local life, through his involvement in community and volunteer projects. If you're looking for more than just a standard tour, he's definitely the right person.
Overall, I felt completely in good hands—and would absolutely choose to travel with him again. If you're seeking an authentic, well-organized, and truly personal safari experience in Tanzania, David is the guide you're looking for.

Offers perfectly organized trips with friendly guides, great communication and memorable experiences
I did my volunteering in Tanzania through Six and Seven Tours, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. We stayed with a wonderful host family who made us feel safe, welcome, and at home from the very first day. The volunteering at the orphanage was meaningful and heartwarming — the children were so full of joy and love, and it felt amazing to be part of their everyday life.
Outside of volunteering, we also got to explore the beauty of Tanzania, including the Hot Springs and an incredible Safari. Everything was perfectly organized, and the communication with the team was always clear, reliable and kind.
Even when we had to wait a little here and there, it was all part of the relaxed Tanzanian lifestyle — truly a “Hakuna Matata” experience. And with Six and Seven Tours, it was always chill, always reliable!

The best way to experience Tanzania
Six & Seven tours will provide everything you need to have an incredible time in Tanzania, and more. Their guides are smart, supportive and knowledgeable about the region. Whether you want to visit nearby national parks, climb one of Africa’s tallest mountains or just learn about the history and culture of Tanzania - Six & Seven tours will make it happen. After volunteering with them several years ago, I returned to visit and to spend time in Arusha. During my most recent trip, I spent a couple days volunteering at the Centre and nearby Yakini school living at the house with a few other volunteers. It is a unique way to experience Tanzania, living in a home with the ammenities and privacy you would expect in a standard accommodation, but with the company and conversation with locals you won’t get anywhere else. Plus, you will get the chance to learn about life in Arusha through the experience of the students and staff at the Yakini school. To top it off, you will enjoy the most incredible food made fresh everyday by their most talented chef.
I then geared up for a 3-day hike of Mt. Meru. The head guide made sure I had all the appropriate gear, that I was comfortable on the mountain and helped me improve my Swahili! The food during the trek was some of the best food I’d eaten in the entire 10 weeks I spent in Africa. Having hiked Kilimanjaro previously, I was very impressed with the experience that Six & Seven Tours provided for me during my trip. I highly recommend this organization, and can’t speak more highly of David and his family and what they have to offer those coming to visit their homeland. Thank you again.

The most exciting adventure
We had the most wonderful experience on our safari with Six and Seven Tours. David and the whole team were so kind and thoughtful and planned a wonderful tour for us through Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater (4.5 days in total). Our lovely guide Deo was not only very knowledgeable about the wildlife and nature but also eager to find the best spots in the parks for that day, making sure, that we got to see all the “big five” and so much more. We were so happy to book with this business owned by a local Arushan family and would recommend it to anybody at any time.

My tour operator Ayubu was very good.
We did a safari tour on The Ngorongoro Conservation and while it wasn't a clear day, it was still a great safari. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We hit all the right spots and got to see some action, which was great. We also did a Walking Tour with a Delicious meal included. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Family like team who takes care of you and enjoys the safari as much as you do yourself
In 2014, I booked a safari with Six and Seven Tours, covering Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. At the time, I wasn’t sure what to expect—my budget was limited, and I worried that affordability might mean cutting corners. But looking back, I can say without hesitation that this was one of the most rewarding trips I’ve ever taken, and much of that was thanks to the professionalism and care of Six and Seven Tours.
Food: In the mornings we got a warm breakfast with eggs and pancakes and some coffee. They made sure we had a good start for the day. We always went straight for the next game drive so we got a big package for Lunch with us. The food was always enjoyable, eaten picnic-style near a hippo pool with a view that felt straight out of a documentary. In the evenings we got another warm meal prepared by our cook and we were always amazed about the range of different menues!
The Safari:
The Lake Manyara National Park is smaller compared to the Serengeti, but it had a surprising variety of landscapes. The birdlife was incredible, and we even managed to spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. Our guide from Six and Seven Tours was knowledgeable and patient—he seemed to have an eye for spotting wildlife long before we did, and he explained everything in a way that made the park come alive.
The Serengeti is where the magic really unfolds. I had dreamed about the endless plains for years, but seeing them in person was beyond anything I imagined. Herds of wildebeest and zebra stretched endlessly to the horizon, and we even had close encounters with lions and cheetahs. Six and Seven Tours organized stays in safe camps in the middle of the Serengeti and honestly, falling asleep to the sounds of lions roaring in the distance was something money can’t buy.
Then there was the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Descending into the crater early in the morning, with mist rising off the rim, felt surreal. Within just a few hours, we saw elephants, rhinos, flamingos, and even a pride of lions and their cups. The sheer density of wildlife was astonishing. Once again, our guide made the experience even richer, explaining animal behaviors and the unique ecosystem of the crater.
Six and Seven Tours handled everything for us and made a this trip unforgettable. They kept us safe, informed, and well taken care of. They managed to balance affordability with genuine quality, something I truly appreciated as a traveler who couldn’t afford luxury lodges but still wanted a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Looking back, I’m incredibly thankful to Six and Seven Tours for their service. Their dedication, warmth, and professionalism made me feel like more than just a customer—they made me feel like part of the journey. Even today, years later, I still think back on that trip with gratitude.
If you’re looking for a safari that doesn’t compromise on experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend Six and Seven Tours. They gave me a trip I’ll never forget.
