You’ll be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Relax and prepare for your journey into the wild.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and massive baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts plenty of wildlife including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and more. Enjoy a full-day game drive and picnic lunch before heading to Karatu in the afternoon.

Depart early and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying the highland landscapes before descending into the Serengeti Plains. Game viewing begins at the Naabi Hill Gate, with your guide leading the way through the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti.

After breakfast, go on a final morning game drive in Serengeti as you slowly make your way back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is your last chance to track predators and plains game in the Serengeti. Arrive at your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater rim by evening.

Today you’ll descend 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken caldera: the Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife havens, home to the Big Five and thousands of other animals including rhinos, flamingos, and hippos. After a full morning game drive, return to Karatu for overnight.

After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse reserve known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippo-filled lake. The park also has lush groundwater forests and great birdlife. After your game drive, return to Arusha for your final evening in Tanzania.
