Your Uganda gorilla safari begins early in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala by your professional Leone Tours & Travel driver-guide.
After a short briefing about your journey, you will begin the scenic drive southwest toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from the busy areas around Kampala and Entebbe to Uganda's countryside, rolling hills, agricultural communities and eventually the spectacular highlands of southwestern Uganda.
You will have a lunch stop along the way before continuing toward Bwindi.
As you approach the Kigezi highlands, the landscape becomes increasingly mountainous, with terraced farmland, winding roads and dramatic green hills. This region is often referred to as the "Switzerland of Uganda" because of its beautiful rolling terrain.
Depending on your chosen trekking sector and arrival time, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and relaxation.

Day 2

After an early morning heavy breakfast with your packed lunch, transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park headquarters for briefing by a ranger guide on what to and what not to do during gorilla trekking experience. After briefing, hike into the forest looking for the location of these amazing apes, this may take few hours or even a full day depending on the location of these apes.
The activity is strenuous and may require average physical fitness, walking sticks or consider hiring porters to help in carrying heavy luggage.
When you find the mountain gorillas, you will be required to spend one hour with them while taking pictures for memories. It is a worthwhile adventure and so humbling to stand a few meters while watching these sought after primates as they eat, feed their young ones and their day to day activities in their natural habitat. After the activity, retire to the lodge for relaxation, before you head for Batwa community experiance.

Day 3
Transfer back to Kampala via the equator or To Kigali for a Cultural Tour
Transfer back to Kampala via the equator or To Kigali for a Cultural Tour
After a cheerful morning breakfast, transfer back to Kampala via the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe where you will have an opportunity to take photos standing in two different hemispheres at the same time and the local water experiment that proves the earth being split-up-into two hemispheres - north and the south hemisphere and lunch enroute. You will then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe airport for your departure.

After a cheerful morning breakfast, transfer back to Kigali where you will have a highlight tour of the Kigali Genocide Memorial site then tranfer to the airpot or to your hotel.
