On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your safari guide, who will pick you up and begin the trip to Arusha town. If the weather is clear, you may have a chance to see Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Depending on your arrival time, your safari guide may take you on a tour of Arusha, where you will experience the culture of the local people. Afterwards, the guide will take you to your hotel in Arusha to prepare for your upcoming safari and spend the night.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up and transfer you two hours to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the scenic views of local villages and Maasai herds along the way. Once we arrive at the park, we will begin the game drive. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population. You may also see zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and possibly lions and cheetahs. We will have lunch at a picnic site in the park and continue the game drive in the afternoon. At the end of the day, we will drive slowly to our accommodations.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a morning game drive. This is often the best time to spot predators that are active before the heat of the day. You might witness a hunt or see animals coming to the waterholes. Explore different sections of the park to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities. The Silale Swamp in the southeastern part of the park is a vital water source and offers excellent wildlife viewing, especially during the dry season. Take advantage of the soft morning light for wildlife photography. In the afternoon, enjoy another packed lunch in the park. You will have a final en-route game drive (optional) as you head to your accommodations for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Tarangire National Park. Your driver will pick you up for your transfer to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch boxes in hand. There will be a stopover at a Maasai village, where you can expect to be greeted in the traditional manner. The journey will then continue to Serengeti National Park with an en-route game drive to explore its beauty. You will be able to spot various wild animals such as lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, and African cape buffalo. The game drive will continue until late afternoon, after which your safari driver will transfer you to your accommodations for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll depart with lunch boxes in hand en route to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most beautiful natural sights in Africa, where you’ll experience extraordinary wildlife. From above, watch the morning mist rise over the crater rim and take in the steep walls that enclose this unique environment. Down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that shelters lions, hyenas, elephants, black rhinos, flamingos, and golden jackals. There are also forests, hippo-filled lakes, a salt pan, and hyena dens. You’ll never lose the sense that you’ve stumbled into a safari theme park where everything’s wild. You will eat lunch at the picnic area inside the park while enjoying the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro landscape. Later, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and your overnight stay.
