Day 1

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest toward the majestic Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and vast elephant herds, Tarangire is a photographer’s dream and one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. After a scenic two-hour drive, you’ll enter the park and begin your first thrilling game drive.
Keep your camera ready as you traverse through open savannahs and riverine woodlands, where lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of buffalo roam. The Tarangire River, a year-round water source, attracts countless animals, especially during the dry season. After a full day of exploration, head to your public campsite near the park for dinner and an overnight stay. Fall asleep to the sounds of nature under a canopy of stars.

Day 2
Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, pack up and set off for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, a drive that takes you through the beautiful highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views and make stops at scenic viewpoints, including a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim to admire the spectacular vistas.
By afternoon, you'll arrive in the central Serengeti, known as Seronera, the park’s heart and a wildlife-rich haven. Here, game drives offer chances to see lions lounging on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, and leopards draped over acacia branches. The Serengeti is home to the iconic Great Migration, and depending on the time of year, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras traversing the plains in search of greener pastures.
As the sun sets, head to your campsite in the Serengeti where tents are pitched in the wilderness, allowing you to feel the true spirit of the African bush.

Day 3

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to catch predators in action and enjoy the golden light across the savannah. After breakfast at camp, enjoy a final game drive as you slowly make your way out of the Serengeti, keeping an eye out for animals you may have missed the day before.
In the afternoon, you'll journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll camp on the crater rim. The cooler highland air, misty hills, and breathtaking views of the crater below create a magical ambiance. Your cook will prepare dinner as you settle in for the evening. Don’t forget to bring a jacket—the nights here can be chilly!

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Today you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique wildlife areas on Earth. The 600-meter-deep caldera acts as a natural enclosure for over 25,000 animals, including rhinos, hippos, lions, and flamingos. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can spot all of the Big Five in a single day.
Enjoy a thrilling game drive along the crater floor, stopping at lakes, grasslands, and marshy swamps. Midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your exploration.
In the afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater wall and begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving by evening with memories to last a lifetime.
