Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest toward the majestic Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and vast elephant herds, Tarangire is a photographer’s dream and one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. After a scenic two-hour drive, you’ll enter the park and begin your first thrilling game drive.

Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views and make stops at scenic viewpoints, including a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim to admire the spectacular vistas.

By afternoon, you'll arrive in the central Serengeti, known as Seronera, the park’s heart and a wildlife-rich haven. Here, game drives offer chances to see lions lounging on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, and leopards draped over acacia branches. The Serengeti is home to the iconic Great Migration, and depending on the time of year, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras traversing the plains in search of greener pastures.

Enjoy a thrilling game drive along the crater floor, stopping at lakes, grasslands, and marshy swamps. Midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool before continuing your exploration.
