Ngorongoro crater to Arusha city

Today, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari within this natural wonder, often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, from elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos to flamingos adorning the crater’s soda lakes. Predators like lions and hyenas are frequently spotted here as well. The diversity of the ecosystem within this relatively small area makes the Ngorongoro Crater one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. After a thrilling day exploring the crater, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by one of the picturesque lakes. In the afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening with memories of an unforgettable 3-day adventure through Tanzania’s most famous parks.
