Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading south to Tarangire National Park, about a 2-hour drive. Known for its vast savannah dotted with giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing.
You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting animals such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and over 500 species of birds, all drawn to the life-giving Tarangire River.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue game viewing in the afternoon before heading to Fig tree lodge for your first night under canvas. Dinner is served at the camp, with the sounds of the wild surrounding you.

Day 2
Serengeti
Serengeti
After breakfast, you’ll drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, entering the vast plains of Serengeti National Park via the Naabi Hill Gate.
Along the way, enjoy views of the rolling hills and possibly stop at a Maasai village or the Ngorongoro viewpoint. Once inside Serengeti, a game drive begins en route to the heart of the park—Seronera Valley—a region famous for its year-round wildlife, especially predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The journey also provides chances to see buffaloes, elephants, and large grazing herds.
By evening, you’ll arrive at Seronera Public Campsite, where tents will be ready and dinner awaits.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in central Serengeti, the best time to catch predators like lions and leopards on the move and herds feeding in the cool morning light.
Spend several hours exploring different areas of the park, with a chance to see cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and more.
After a picnic lunch, begin your journey back through the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.
By late afternoon, you'll reach the Simba A Public Campsite, located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll camp for the night with sweeping views of the crater floor.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater
Rise early for breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most biodiverse and scenic wildlife areas.
The crater hosts a dense population of animals, including the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. You’ll also encounter hippos, hyenas, and an array of antelope and bird species. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, ascend from the crater and exit the conservation area.
Instead of camping on the rim, you’ll head to Fig Tree Camp in Mto wa mbu, a nearby town, for a more comfortable overnight stay with dinner and relaxation.

Day 5
Lake manyara
Lake manyara
After breakfast, drive a short distance to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive.
The park is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and is known for its lush groundwater forest, tree-climbing lions, elephants, and abundant birdlife, especially flamingos along the lakeshore.
After a morning game drive and picnic lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon and marking the end of your 5-day group camping safari.
