Your safari journey begins with a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. After customs, you’ll be greeted by your personal driver-guide and transferred to your hotel or lodge in Arusha, a peaceful town surrounded by coffee farms and views of Mount Meru.
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax by the pool, take a short town tour, or unwind in your room. In the evening, you’ll receive a full safari briefing, go over the route, and prepare for the start of your adventure. Overnight in a comfortable Arusha lodge or boutique hotel.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire
Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up and drive you southwest through scenic countryside toward Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours).
Upon arrival, your game drive begins immediately. Tarangire is famous for its huge elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts wildlife year-round. You'll see large herds of buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly lions, leopards, and elands. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy spotting over 500 bird species, including colorful hornbills and yellow-collared lovebirds.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge near or inside the park. Settle in with a sunset view, a hot shower, and a delicious dinner in a peaceful bush setting.

Day 3
Karatu to Serengeti
Karatu to Serengeti
After breakfast, drive northwards through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. This is a long but scenic drive (~6–7 hours with game viewing en route), and it’s packed with incredible views of Maasai villages, crater highlands, and sweeping plains.
You’ll stop at the Naabi Hill Gate—the entry to Serengeti—and enjoy a panoramic viewpoint before continuing with an afternoon game drive. As you enter the Seronera region (central Serengeti), you’ll begin spotting lions lounging on rocks, cheetahs on the hunt, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests, especially if your trip coincides with the Great Migration.
Arrive at your tented lodge or luxury lodge in Serengeti, where you’ll relax, dine, and enjoy a night surrounded by nature.

Day 4
Serengeti to Karatu
Serengeti to Karatu
Begin your day with a final morning game drive in Serengeti, taking in the last moments of this incredible ecosystem. Early mornings are ideal for spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large grazing herds. You’ll explore key areas of the central Serengeti (Seronera), rich in wildlife and classic savannah scenery.
After lunch, start your drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying game viewing along the way as you exit Serengeti. You’ll pass through highlands and Maasai villages before descending to the town of Karatu, located just outside the Ngorongoro gate.
Arrive at your lodge in Karatu by late afternoon or early evening, where you’ll relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 5
Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day safari.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and offers a dense concentration of wildlife, including all members of the Big Five. You’re likely to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and if you’re lucky, a black rhino. The crater floor also features hippo pools, flamingo-lined lakes, open grasslands, and forests where leopards and monkeys hide.
After a picnic lunch by a scenic waterhole, ascend the crater wall and drive to Karatu, a charming town on the outer slopes of Ngorongoro. Check in to your lodge in Karatu, surrounded by coffee plantations and gardens, where you can enjoy a relaxing evening and hot dinner.

Day 6
Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will check out and depart with a packed lunch for an exciting game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.
Lake Manyara takes up a large portion of the park, and the forest begins just after crossing the park gate, along the base of the Great Rift Valley, with a hot spring to the west. The famous tree-climbing lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and baboon troops can all be found in the park. The magnificent pink flamingos, ostriches, Egyptian geese, and other animals will also be seen.
After your picnic lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive and then to a Masai village to learn about the Masai people's various activities and cultures. You will arrive in Arusha in the evening.
