Maasai boma to lake manyara

Start your day with a cultural experience at a Maasai Boma near Mto wa Mbu or the Manyara area. After a traditional welcome, learn about Maasai customs, lifestyle, and their connection with nature. Enjoy singing, dancing, and a short tour of the homestead.

After the visit, depart mid-morning for Lake Manyara National Park, just a short drive away. Enter the park for a half-day game drive, exploring its diverse landscapes—lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the soda lake.

Spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and large flocks of flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding nature.

In the afternoon, continue the game drive before exiting the park around 4:30 PM. Return to your lodge or camp with rich cultural and wildlife experiences from both the Maasai village and Lake Manyara.
