Day 1

Zanzibar to Arusha & Tarangire National Park

In the morning, you will catch a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at
Arusha Airport and drive you straight to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large herds of
elephants and iconic baobab trees, often referred to as the “Tree of Life.”
Upon entering the park, enjoy a thrilling game drive where you’ll spot an abundance of wildlife,
including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and a rich variety of bird species. As you enjoy a picnic
lunch in the park, take in the stunning views of the river and its surrounding vegetation. Afterward,
continue your safari drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the famous Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most
renowned wildlife destination. Known for its immense plains, Serengeti is home to a wide variety of
wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). The Serengeti also plays host
to the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events.
Arriving at the Serengeti, you’ll embark on a thrilling game drive to witness the diverse wildlife of the
park. You may see lions lounging on rocks, cheetahs hunting in the grasslands, or even leopards lounging
in acacia trees. Your day ends with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at Osinon Camp, located in
the heart of the Serengeti.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day early with a morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll explore different areas of
the park and experience wildlife at its finest. The park offers abundant opportunities for spotting
predators, including lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of elephants and buffaloes.
Afterward, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. The
crater, often referred to as the Garden of Eden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a
remarkable range of animals, including endangered black rhinos. You will descend into the crater for an
afternoon game drive to witness the incredible wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and lions.
In the evening, ascend the crater and head to your accommodation at Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp for
a restful night.

rim. Afterward, you’ll head back to Arusha. Once in Arusha, you will have lunch before being transferred
to the airport for your return flight to Zanzibar. You’ll arrive in Zanzibar in the evening, marking the end
of your incredible Tanzanian safari adventure.
