Durban to Phinda Private Game Reserve

Guests have several options of private road transfers between Durban (King Shaka International Airport) / Richards Bay Airport and Phinda Rock Lodge, drives of between 2 to 4 hours. Alternatively, you can fly directly into the game reserve’s airstrip with Federal Air.

Upon arrival at Phinda Rock Lodge, you can enjoy some refreshments and relax until it is time for the afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, with sundowners and snacks along the drive. Take along the complimentary pair of
Swarovski Optik binoculars for the best views of elusive animals. Back at the lodge, a scrumptious al fresco dinner on a rooftop terrace awaits.

Game Drives & Bush walk in Phinda Private Game Reserve

Rise early for a hot drink before you depart on the early morning game drives, during which you can enjoy a bush cappuccino rendezvous between searches for animals. Back at the lodge you can savour brunch before more relaxing until high tea in the afternoon.
Your afternoon game drives will follow the same pattern of the first evening, rounded off by dinner on the rooftop terrace.
