Arrive to tarangire national park

Begin your safari adventure with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading southwest toward Tarangire National Park—one of Tanzania’s most picturesque and wildlife-rich parks. The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours, giving you a glimpse of the rural Tanzanian landscape and local villages along the way.

Upon arrival at the park, you'll embark on a full-day game drive, exploring its vast savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine habitats. Tarangire is especially renowned for its large elephant populations and the striking baobab trees that dot the landscape like ancient natural sculptures. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species.

As the sun begins to set, exit the park and drive to the nearby town of Mto wa Mbu, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive at your lodge, where you can freshen up and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Tarangire baloon safari to ngorongoro highland

Rise before dawn for an unforgettable experience—an early morning hot air balloon safari over Tarangire National Park. As the first light of day paints the sky with warm hues, you'll gently lift off into the air, soaring above the treetops and open savannah. Upon landing, you’ll be greeted with a luxurious bush breakfast set in the heart of the wilderness. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal with the sounds of nature all around—a perfect way to celebrate your aerial adventure.

After breakfast, depart Tarangire and begin the scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, a region known for its cooler climate, rich green landscapes, and cultural significance.
Arrive in the highlands by early afternoon. Depending on timing and weather, you’ll embark on a guided nature walk, offering a more intimate experience with the environment.

As the sun begins to dip low, start your journey back to Arusha, reflecting on the incredible tour of the past two days. Arrive in the evening—your safari concludes.
