Arrive in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your driver or tour representative holding a sign with your name. After assisting with your luggage, they will transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha. The drive typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. On arrival, check in and settle into your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, exploring the park’s famous baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Overnight stay will be at a lodge or tented camp near Tarangire or in Mto wa Mbu.
