Day 1

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive approximately 2 to 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through the park, known for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds. Spend the night at a lodge or tented camp either near Tarangire or in the nearby town of Mto wa Mbu.

Begin the day with an early drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore the crater floor in search of lions, black rhinos, buffalo, and other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the scenic hippo pool, surrounded by nature.

Day 4-6

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After exploring Ngorongoro, drive to Central Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate, enjoying wildlife sightings en route and overnighting at a lodge or camp. Spend the next day on a full-day game drive in the Seronera area, known for its big cats and seasonal wildlife activity, with optional sunrise drives or hot air balloon safaris. On the following day, continue deeper into the Serengeti Plains, possibly heading west or north to follow the migration and spot predators and dramatic landscapes, staying overnight in the same or a new camp. On Day 6, enjoy a morning game drive while exiting the park, then drive toward Karatu with a stop for lunch and optional visits to Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai boma, ending the day at a lodge near the crater.
