Day 1
Transfer from kampala/entebbe to kibale national park

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a scenic 5 to 6-hour drive to Kibale National Park, passing through the breathtaking countryside, dotted with villages, lush forests, and expansive tea plantations. Around midday, you will stop for lunch in Fort Portal, a picturesque town known for its vibrant culture and beautiful landscapes.
After lunch, you will continue to Kibale National Park and visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-led conservation project. This swamp walk offers an incredible opportunity to spot over 200 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, Papyrus Gonolek, and Hornbills. You will also have the chance to see primates such as red colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and vervet monkeys.
After Bigodi wetland visit, you will check into your lodge. You will have time to relax, Dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking, Kibale National Park is known as the "Primate Capital of the World", boasting over 13 different primate species, including chimpanzees, olive baboons, and colobus monkeys.
The chimpanzee trekking experience will take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. Once you locate a group, you will spend one full hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will see them feeding, grooming, playing, and communicating with each other, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and a brief rest before heading towards Semuliki National Park, a drive of approximately 1.5 hours. The drive takes you through the Albertine Rift Valley, offering magnificent views of Lake Albert and the Rwenzori Mountains.
Upon arrival at Semuliki National Park, you will check into your lodge and relax.

Day 3

Have breakfast and head out to view the Shoebill by boat along Semuliki River¸ The shoebill is a large¸ striking bird known for its massive¸ shoe-shaped bill¸ which is where it gets its name. They’re typically found in the park’s wetlands and swampy areas¸ especially around semuliki River after head out to explore the Sempaya Hot Springs, one of the most iconic attractions in Semuliki National Park. The hot springs are divided into two:
The "Male" Hot Spring (Bintente): A deep geyser that shoots boiling water several meters into the air. The "Female" Hot Spring (Nyasimbi): A pool of boiling water where visitors can even boil eggs and bananas within minutes.
After this, you will begin the journey back to Kampala/Entebbe, making a stop in Fort Portal for lunch. By late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport, marking the end of your incredible 3-day adventure.
