Chimpanzee trekking in kibale national park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the visitor center at Kibale Np for briefing before your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced rangers, you’ll step into the dense tropical rainforest, following narrow forest trails and listening carefully for chimpanzee calls echoing through the canopy. Trekking time typically ranges from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the chimpanzees’ movements that morning. Explore the rainforest in search of chimpanzees while spotting other primates, birds, and unique forest wildlife along the way. When the chimpanzees are finally located, the forest suddenly comes alive. You are allowed one full hour with the chimpanzee community, observing them at close but respectful distance. Watch as they feed, groom one another, swing effortlessly through the branches, care for their young, and communicate using vocal calls and gestures.
