Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha as you drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated gems. Known for its majestic baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants, Tarangire offers a spectacular introduction to the African bush. As your group explores the park, keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. After an exciting game drive, you’ll head to a public campsite near the park where tents will be set up and dinner served under the stars.

After breakfast, journey through the beautiful highlands of Karatu and enter the endless plains of the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with optional stops at viewpoints. Upon reaching the Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive across the iconic savannah. This is your chance to witness the Great Migration (seasonal) and predators such as cheetahs and lions in action. In the evening, arrive at Seronera public campsite for a hot meal and storytelling around the campfire.

Rise with the sun for a full day of game drives in the central Serengeti, known for its dense concentration of wildlife year-round. Explore various habitats including river valleys, grasslands, and rocky outcrops known as kopjes. This region offers incredible chances to spot elusive leopards, massive herds of herbivores, and thrilling predator action. Break for a bush lunch and continue your exploration until evening. As the sun sets, return to the campsite for dinner and another night in the heart of the wilderness.

Enjoy a final sunrise game drive in Serengeti before slowly making your way to Ngorongoro. This transition route provides more game-viewing opportunities along the way. Upon arrival, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater rim and marvel at the breathtaking views into the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. Tonight, you’ll camp on the rim at Simba Public Campsite, where you may hear the distant roar of lions or the call of hyenas in the night.

Wake up early and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Home to over 25,000 animals, including rhinos, lions, hippos, and flamingos, this is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in one day. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll exit and head to Lake Manyara National Park for a short afternoon game drive. Look for the famous tree-climbing lions, colorful birdlife, and troops of baboons. Later, return to Arusha where your shared safari ends with lifelong memories and new friendships.
