Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Start your day by witnessing your final sunrise over the Serengeti—a truly magical moment. After breakfast, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater, taking in the stunning scenery along the way.
The Ngorongoro Crater, hidden within steep volcanic walls, reveals a pristine wilderness filled with vast savannahs, patches of acacia woodland, shimmering lakes, and swamps. This natural wonder was formed 2 to 3 million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed, creating one of the world’s largest intact calderas.
Descending into the crater is an adventure itself. Once on the crater floor, you’ll be surrounded by large herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The crater also offers one of the best opportunities to spot the endangered black rhino, which sometimes grazes openly on the grasslands.
After a full afternoon of exploration and game viewing, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu for a restful evening.

This morning, head to Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this extraordinary safari! Manyara, a small yet diverse park 120km west of Arusha, offers a unique experience. It's both compact (one of Africa's narrowest parks) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara's western boundary).
The park's centerpiece is a shallow, salt lake covering a large area, fluctuating with the seasons and hosting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. Spot baboons and elephants in the park's dense evergreen forest, and be on the lookout for the famed tree-climbing lions.
