Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your driver or tour representative holding a sign with your name. After assisting with your luggage, they will transfer you directly to your hotel in Arusha. The drive typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and weather. On arrival, check in and settle into your hotel to rest and prepare for your safari.

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you’ll depart for a scenic drive westward through the Great Rift Valley toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend into the Ngorongoro Highlands, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of rolling green hills, volcanic landscapes, and traditional Maasai villages. By afternoon, you’ll descend into the southern Serengeti’s Ndutu area, renowned for hosting the Great Migration during the calving season. Along the way, enjoy a short game drive with the chance to spot wildebeest herds, zebras, gazelles, and predators like cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. You’ll arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for dinner and a briefing about the next day’s safari adventure.

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive across the Ndutu region, the heart of the Southern Serengeti and a prime location for witnessing the wildebeest calving season. During this remarkable time, more than 500,000 calves are born within just a few weeks, drawing intense predator activity from lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. The day offers incredible wildlife encounters and exceptional photographic opportunities, from dramatic predator-prey scenes to serene moments of life beginning on the plains. Depending on the day's conditions, you’ll either enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for a midday rest. As the sun sets over the acacia-dotted savannah, return to your lodge or tented camp for a relaxing dinner and an evening of storytelling by the campfire.

Begin your final safari day with an optional early morning game drive in Ndutu, a prime time to watch predators like lions and hyenas returning from their hunts and witness the herds awakening in the soft dawn light. Return to your lodge or camp for breakfast, then set out from Ndutu toward the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive, spotting the Big Five—black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalos, and leopards, alongside flamingos, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and other remarkable wildlife. Around midday, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within or near the crater, surrounded by its dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha through the highlands, arriving by late afternoon or early evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
