Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to Arusha Airport. You will fly into the Northern Serengeti National Park (Kogatende Airstrip) by a small plane. Upon arriving at Kogatende Airstrip, you will start morning game drives till the afternoon. You will have your picnic lunch, then continue with an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti till sunset. You will spend a comfortable night at Safari Haven Migration Camp.

In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience!
The Great Migration in the northern Serengeti is a remarkable natural phenomenon where over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, embark on a cyclical journey across Tanzania and Kenya in search of fresh grazing and water. This migration is driven by seasonal rains and the availability of nutritious grasses, and it unfolds in several key phases. After a day game drive you will have an overnight at Safari Haven Migration Camp.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

The day begins with a delicious breakfast at the lodge. You will then start your game drive in Serengeti National Park, followed by a scenic drive to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you will descend into the breathtaking and iconic Ngorongoro Crater. The game drive begins with a search for the Big Five: elephants, buffalo, rhinos, leopards, and lions. You may also encounter other fascinating wildlife such as elands, hyenas, gazelles, and zebras. A picnic lunch will be provided during the excursion. In the afternoon, you’ll continue with a game drive, exploring more of the crater and searching for additional wildlife. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at The Retreat at Ngorongoro.

Tarangire to Arusha
Tarangire to Arusha
Tarangire's natural splendour is breathtaking, with long-lived baobab trees dotting the landscape. Tarangire is home to large herds of elephants, as well as zebras, antelopes, and lions. During the dry season, which lasts from June to October, a wildlife drive along the Tarangire River is very rewarding. After a successful day filled with wonderful memories, you will drive to the Arusha for an overnight stay.
