Early in the morning, you will be transferred from your hotel in Arusha to Arusha Airport for a scenic flight to Kogatende Airstrip in Northern Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your safari adventure begins with a game drive through one of the best areas to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. Depending on the season and movement of the herds, you may have the chance to see thousands of wildebeest and zebras gathering on the plains or attempting the dramatic Mara River crossings. After enjoying a picnic lunch in the bush, you will continue exploring the Northern Serengeti in search of more wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. As the day comes to an end, you will head to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty and sounds of the African wilderness.

Beyond the migration, the Northern Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope species. The region also offers excellent chances of spotting predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. After a full day of unforgettable wildlife encounters and breathtaking scenery, you will return to Safari Haven Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

The day begins with a delicious breakfast at the Camp. You will then start your game drive in Serengeti National Park, followed by a scenic drive to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, you will descend into the breathtaking and iconic Ngorongoro Crater. The game drive begins with a search for the Big Five: elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, and lions. You may also encounter other fascinating wildlife such as elands, hyenas, gazelles, and zebras. A picnic lunch will be provided during the excursion. In the afternoon, you’ll continue with a game drive, exploring more of the crater and searching for additional wildlife. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at The Retreat at Ngorongoro.

Tarangire to Arusha

After breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its spectacular landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. The park is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen along the Tarangire River, a vital water source for animals throughout the year. During your game drive, look out for zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, and predators such as lions.
