After being picked up and briefed on your upcoming safari, you’ll drive to Murchison Falls National Park—the only park located in northwestern Uganda and the largest of the ten national parks the “Pearl of Africa” is known for.
En route, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos in their natural environment. From Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to Murchison Falls National Park is about a two-hour drive via Kichumbanyobo Gate.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, today’s activities include a morning game drive and a boat cruise with an experienced park guide. Your exciting game drive starts on the northern banks of Murchison Falls National Park, where you may see kobs, waterbucks, hartebeest, buffaloes, giraffes, and various bird species.
The game drive will last 2–3 hours. Later, you’ll have lunch followed by an afternoon boat cruise to see crocodiles, hippos, and birds, especially cormorants and bee-eaters.

Day 3

After an early cup of tea or coffee, you will leave Murchison Falls National Park and drive for about six hours to Kibale National Park, including a lunch stop in Fort Portal city. Proceed to your booked lodge in Kibale Forest for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Enjoy an early cup of tea or coffee, then receive a briefing at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre on chimp tracking guidelines and regulations. Access to Kibale Forest begins at 8:00 a.m., after you are assigned a park guide, and the tracking takes two-to-four hours. Once a chimp community is located, you will have one full hour to observe the chimpanzees, watch how they groom each other, take photos, and then walk back.
Have lunch at your leisure, then visit the Bigodi community in the afternoon. Enjoy a walk through the area, spot a variety of bird species, and then return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 5

Meet your driver-guide after breakfast and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You can partake in an optional mini-game drive in the Ishasha sector, with possible sightings of tree-climbing lions. Later, have lunch at Savanna Resort or Topi Lodge before checking in to your lodge for your overnight stay in Bwindi.

Day 6

Have an early breakfast and then, with packed snacks and a bottle of water in hand, head to the park offices for a briefing. Gorilla tracking begins at 8:00 a.m. and may take two-to-six hours. Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will have one hour to observe these intelligent species. Afterward, walk back to the starting point, receive your gorilla trekking certificate, and return to the lodge for relaxation. In the evening, visit the Batwa villages for a cultural tour.

Have an early breakfast and then embark on a two-hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Activities available here include a boat ride, visiting some of the 29 islands found on the lake (including Punishment Island), a community walk, swimming, or relaxing by the shore.

Day 8

Meet your driver-guide early after breakfast and then depart Kabale for Kampala, an eight-hour journey. Arrive in Mbarara city in time for lunch and a photo shoot, then stop at the equator crossing in Mpigi for a brief visit.
