Your safari adventure with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel, followed by an introduction to your professional guide, chef, and fellow travelers. You will then depart on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife. This park is home to ancient baobab trees and boasts the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering extraordinary opportunities to witness elephant herds and their social interactions. Your game drive will be tailored to follow recent wildlife sightings, increasing your chances of spotting elusive predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, while also enjoying frequent encounters with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and other herbivores. After a picnic lunch inside the park, the safari continues until approximately 4:30 pm, when you exit the park and head to your campsite for a freshly prepared dinner and a restful overnight stay in the heart of nature.

After breakfast, your day begins with a picturesque drive to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations, guided by the expert team at Serengeti Wildlife Safaris. You'll travel through the lush highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views along the way. As you descend into the vast, untamed plains of the Serengeti, you’ll enter the heart of wild Africa, where endless savannah stretches to the horizon. Your destination is the renowned Seronera region, a prime game-viewing area centered around the Seronera, a year-round water source that attracts a high concentration of wildlife. This area is teeming with animal activity, offering exceptional opportunities to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as abundant herbivores like zebras, elephants, and buffalo. You’ll arrive in time for a hot lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive through this wildlife-rich region of the park.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will set out on a sunrise game drive through the Seronera region of Serengeti National Park, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Tanzania. Guided by our experienced team at Serengeti Wildlife Safaris, this morning drive offers the best opportunity to witness predators in action during the cooler hours of the day, as well as large herds of grazing animals such as zebras, wildebeests, and elephants. After an exciting morning in the bush, you will return to camp for lunch and begin packing up. The journey then continues as you enjoy a scenic game drive en route to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, located near the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This two-hour drive is filled with stunning landscapes and the chance to spot more wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, you will settle in for a warm dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the crater exploration the following day.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, expertly guided by the team at Serengeti Wildlife Safaris. Known as one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders, the crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, including the rare and endangered black rhinoceros, large prides of lions, and an abundance of herbivores such as zebras, buffalo, and wildebeest. With its lush landscapes and permanent water sources, the crater floor is a haven for wildlife year-round. Enjoy your picnic lunch near the hippo pool, where you can relax with a scenic view of the lake and watch hippos wallowing in the cool waters. In the afternoon, you will begin your journey back to Arusha, a scenic 3-hour drive, where you’ll be dropped off at the Greenside Hotel for your overnight stay or onward travel arrangements.

Although reaching the summit requires several days, this excursion allows you to trek the first section of the famous Marangu Route, starting with an early morning hotel pick-up from Arusha and a scenic drive to Marangu Gate for registration. From there, you'll hike through the lush rainforest, home to vibrant birdlife and black-and-white colobus monkeys, enjoying a picnic lunch en route to Mandara Hut (2,700m). After a short rest at the hut, you'll begin your descent, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Arusha or the airport, accompanied by relaxing music to ease the day’s fatigue. The full experience runs between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM, offering a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and comfort.
