Day 1

Early in the morning, you’ll meet your Kenyan driver-guide at the agreed pickup point and be transferred to our office to begin your safari to the Masai Mara. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the escarpment wall and in Narok Town for an early lunch. Arrive at the Masai Mara campsite in the late afternoon for check in and a short rest before heading out on an evening wildlife safari. Explore the reserve in search of animals, enjoy the sunset, then return to camp for dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay.

Have breakfast at the campsite before departing with packed picnic lunches in hand for a full-day budget camping safari in the Masai Mara. The reserve is world-famous for the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras between July and October, as well as its rich population of African wildlife species. Spend about eight hours on thrilling game drives, with close-up encounters of animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, elands, topis, antelopes, hyenas, waterbucks, and many more. In the late evening, exit the reserve and return to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay.

Start the day with an early breakfast at the hotel as your guide briefs you about Lake Nakuru National Park. You’ll then drive to the main gate and enjoy a game drive, spotting wildlife such as black and white rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, flamingos, pelicans, baboons, impalas, gazelles, and many other species of animals and birds. Visit the Baboon Cliff viewpoint before exiting the park, then continue with lunch en route to Lake Naivasha, where you’ll arrive at your budget hotel in the late afternoon. The afternoon can be spent at your leisure, or you can take an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha at an extra cost to view birds and hippos. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Today you will enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before preparing for activities at Hell’s Gate National Park. You may choose between a safari drive with your guide or cycling 14 km down to the gorge. Enjoy a guided nature walk before ascending back to the main gate, then exit the park and drive to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch along the highway. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.

Upon arrival at the main gate, you will complete registration before proceeding on a game drive toward the camp, located in the Central Serengeti. This marks the beginning of your Tanzanian wildlife adventure. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
