You’ll be picked up early from your hotel in Entebbe or the airport and begin a full-day scenic drive southwest through Uganda’s countryside, rural villages, and terraced hills. Enjoy en route stops for photography scubas the equator point and a hearty local lunch in Mbarara or Kabale.

Arrive in the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the late afternoon. Check in at Four Gorilla Lodge, perched on the forest edge, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere to unwind ahead of the next day's trek.

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing from your UWA ranger. Then venture into the dense jungle to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can range from 2 to 6 hours depending on their location, but the reward is one unforgettable hour in the company of these gentle giants.

After your gorilla experience, return to the lodge for lunch and freshening up, then begin your cross-border journey into Rwanda via Cyanika border post. Enjoy scenic views of the Virunga volcanoes as you descend toward Kigali, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the international airport.
Please note that this tour can also start and end in Kigali, Rwanda, depending on your flight schedule. This flexible routing allows for easier access and a shorter drive to the gorilla trekking region.
