Your journey begins with an early pick-up from Entebbe or any accommodation of your choice. Head to Mabamba Swamp, a birding haven on the shores of Lake Victoria, to search for the rare shoebill on a guided canoe excursion.
After shoebill search continue north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided on-foot tracking experience with the only wild rhinos in Uganda. After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in time for dinner and relaxation at your lodge.

Start your day with a sunrise game drive in the park’s northern sector, known for sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, orbits, Uganda kobs and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and diverse birdlife. Optional hike to the top of the falls for panoramic views basing on the water levels.

After breakfast, embark on a fair long scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse savannah reserve. Pass through traditional villages and enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains en route.

Head to the valley of apes, Kyambura Gorge for a guided chimpanzee trekking experience in a stunning forested ravine. Spend time observing these intelligent primates in their natural environment. Later, proceed with a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel that connects 2 lakes of Edward and George. Have a classy animal encounter like the crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, lots of bird species and lots of hippos. Enjoy a classic evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains after your boat cruise, a great place to spot lions, Uganda kobs, hyenas, and elephants against the backdrop of crater lakes.

After breakfast, travel through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its unique tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees. Enjoy a game drive in this less-visited region and look out for buffaloes, topis, leopards, hyenas and elephants. This drive is magical, driving through the dense forest of Maramagambo with a stunning views of lake Edward.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Buhoma, arriving in time for a relaxed evening.

Today is the highlight of your safari. After a briefing at park headquarters, set off into the rainforest for an unforgettable mountain gorilla tracking experience. Once found, spend up to one hour with a habituated gorilla family, observing their behaviour and interactions. It's an experience like no other that will last forever.
In the afternoon, transfer to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi, known for its birdlife and serene beauty. Optional island tour in the evening.
