Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha (Tanzania Tourism Hub) then drive to Tarangire Natioanal Park

At 6:00 am, depending on the location of your hotel in Zanzibar, our driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. You will arrive in Arusha at 9:15 am. Our driver guide will then drive you to Tarangire National Park, which is about 1.5 hours from Arusha. Along the way, your driver guide will share interesting information about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes. The park is home to large herds of elephants, zebras, impalas, buffalos, Maasai giraffes, different bird species as well as variety of scenery including seasonal swamps and open savannah. The Tarangire River flows through the park and attracts many animals, especially during the dry season. You may have the chance to see lions stalking their prey or leopards resting in the trees.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive transfer to Arusha for Flight back to Zanzibar Beaches

You will depart from your accommodation after breakfast at 6:00am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 30 minutes to reach the Ngorongoro Crater. You will embark on a full day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, which departs at 4:30pm. Upon arrival at 5:30pm, our driver will meet and transfer you to your hotel.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its natural and cultural significance. Once you descend into the crater, you will have an excellent chance to spot the Big Five animals (lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos). You will also see bird species like flamingos in the crater lakes and marvel at the spectacular natural environment inside the crater. Be ready to spot many varieties of wild animals within a short timeframe.
