At 5:30 am, your driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel (depending on location) and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Arriving at 9:15 am, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide. After a brief safari orientation, you’ll begin your journey to the Southern Serengeti for an exciting game drive.

Experience the spectacular Ndutu Calving Season, one of nature’s most extraordinary events, occurring from late January to March in the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu region. During this time, over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born, attracting numerous predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas—creating an unforgettable wildlife spectacle.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park, then continue your game drive until around 4:00 pm, before returning to your accommodation for the evening.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the renowned Southern Serengeti, focusing on the Ndutu region, famous for its spectacular wildlife and key events of the Great Migration, including the calving season and predator activity.

The Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area), located between the southern Serengeti and northern Ngorongoro, is celebrated for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. From December to March, it becomes the heart of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles give birth, attracting predators like lions and cheetahs. The open plains provide excellent opportunities for game viewing and photography, promising an unforgettable safari experience.

After the game drive, return to the camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Program of the Day:

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at 6:40 am as your safari adventure comes to a close. We will transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for an extensive game drive, with a picnic lunch included.

Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest intact caldera and one of Africa’s natural wonders. Home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round—including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos—as well as diverse bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, it offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities.

After the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your 5:00 pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at 6:00 pm, our driver will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
