With palm-lined streets and a cool ocean breeze, this vibrant town offers the perfect mix of culture, history, and outdoor excitement—from sandboarding and quad biking to relaxing beach walks and seafood dining. You will arrive in Swakopmund, a charming coastal town with German colonial architecture.

Check in at your mid-range guesthouse and enjoy a guided walking tour through town and along the beach promenade.

Swakopmund to Sesriem

You will have an early morning departure toward the Namib Desert. Go on a scenic drive through the Gaub and Kuiseb passes. You will arrive in Sesriem and check in at a comfortable desert lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure or have an optional short walk in the surrounding desert.

Sossusvlei & Deadvlei Adventure

Located in the heart of the Namib Desert, Sossusvlei is famous for its towering red sand dunes, some of the highest in the world. Nearby, Deadvlei stuns with its surreal white clay pan, dotted with ancient, blackened camelthorn trees, set against vibrant orange dunes and deep blue skies. Together, they create one of Namibia’s most iconic and otherworldly landscapes.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and check out. Visit the quirky town of Solitaire for snacks and its famous apple pie. In the afternoon, go on a scenic drive back to Windhoek, arriving by late afternoon. You will overnight at a comfortable lodge.

Sesriem to Walvis Bay

Travel from the desert heartland of Sesriem to the Atlantic coast of Walvis Bay, passing through ever-changing landscapes—from vast gravel plains and rolling dunes to rugged mountain passes. This scenic drive offers a striking contrast between Namibia’s arid interior and its cool, marine-rich coastline. You will travel through the desert back toward the coast. Upon arrival in Walvis Bay, check in at your mid-range hotel.

Go on an optional kayaking or catamaran cruise to see dolphins and seals. Then, return to your accommodation.
