After an early breakfast, your safari begins in earnest with a journey into the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend onto the vast plains of the Central Serengeti, wildlife sightings begin almost immediately. This region, known as Seronera, is the heart of the park and boasts some of the highest concentrations of wildlife year-round. Expect to encounter prides of lions, herds of elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and possibly elusive leopards and cheetahs. The Central Serengeti is characterized by its wide open savannah, dotted with granite kopjes where predators often lounge. Today, the journey continues as you drive from Central to Northern Serengeti, following the path of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
