Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Magic Of Wild who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we will set out for Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, this park becomes a vital water source during the dry season, attracting a rich array of wildlife. The landscape is marked by dense vegetation, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and verdant groundwater forests.

Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen congregating near the river. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, boasting the highest number of breeding bird species in the world.

Following a packed day of game viewing and a relaxing lunch, we’ll continue to our partner lodges in Karatu, where dinner and overnight accommodations await.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast at the lodge, we’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. Lunch will be enjoyed at the scenic hippo pool picnic site. The crater floor, punctuated by watering holes, supports nearly 30,000 animals within its natural enclosure formed by the crater’s steep volcanic walls.

Ngorongoro is the world’s largest intact caldera, with walls rising 610 meters above the 259 square kilometer basin. Recognized as one of the Eight Wonders of the Natural World and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers an unparalleled sanctuary for wildlife.

Following an unforgettable game drive, we’ll journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your remarkable safari adventure.
